The CL4G drawing shows an upper bench that runs approximately 76 inches across the rear wall. That gives many users enough length to sit with their legs extended or recline when using the sauna alone. Whether you can lie completely flat will depend on your height and preferred position inside the sauna.
No. The CL4G is delivered as a sauna kit, and the installation manual includes a dedicated step for assembling and securing the front glass wall. The glass components should be handled carefully during assembly, and SaunaLife specifically warns installers to avoid striking the glass with tools or fasteners.
The CL4G door must open outward. This is important when planning the sauna location because you should leave enough clear space in front of the entrance for the door to open freely. SaunaLife also allows the door to be rotated 180 degrees during installation if the handle needs to be positioned on the opposite side.
SaunaLife’s current LED system uses 3500K white lighting rather than an RGB color-changing light. The brightness can be adjusted from 1% to 100%, allowing you to keep the interior softly lit or increase the light level when needed.
SaunaLife requires the lighting driver, power supply, and control equipment to be protected from moisture, rain, and other outdoor conditions. If the driver is installed outside the sauna, it should be placed in a weatherproof enclosure. The lighting installation should also be completed by a qualified electrician according to local electrical requirements.
The CL4G has a particularly space-efficient layout within SaunaLife’s Cube Series. Its wide seating area, shallower cabinet depth, and model-specific water-management hardware make it a practical choice for buyers who want a 3-person outdoor sauna without moving to a much deeper cabin.
The CL4G is approximately 80.7 inches wide but only 49.2 inches deep. It shares essentially the same overall width as the larger CL5G while using about 13.8 inches less backyard depth, giving buyers a wider 3-person sauna layout where front-to-back space is limited.
Rather than adding most of its size through cabin depth, the CL4G uses its width to create an upper Thermo-Aspen bench that spans approximately 76 inches. This gives the compact cube sauna a long primary seating surface for shared use or more room when bathing alone.
SaunaLife’s official CL4G parts list includes two MU-TRAPP assemblies as part of the sauna kit. These dedicated floor-level components add another layer of water management to the outdoor sauna design and should be incorporated into the site and drainage plan during installation.
