The CL5G sits between the smaller CL4G and larger CL7G in SaunaLife’s Cube Series. The CL4G is designed for up to 3 bathers and is about 49.2 inches deep, while the CL5G increases capacity to 4 people and depth to 63 inches. The CL7G is the larger 6-person model and is also wider and taller. The CL5G is a practical middle option for buyers who want a 4-person outdoor sauna without moving to the much larger CL7G footprint.
Not necessarily. SaunaLife states that the included heater guard may not meet the required safety clearances for every heater. One section of the guard can be trimmed when fitting a smaller heater, but the guard should not be used if it conflicts with the heater manufacturer’s required clearances. Always select and position the heater first, then confirm the guard fits safely around it.
Yes, when the sauna is paired with a heater that is designed for water-on-stone use. SaunaLife’s instructions state that water should be poured only onto the heater stones and not onto the benches or wooden walls. Always follow the water-use instructions supplied with your chosen sauna heater.
No. SaunaLife notes that natural wood can change as it is exposed to repeated heat, humidity, and outdoor conditions. Small changes in shape, slight cracking, variations in tone, and some darkening near areas exposed to hot steam can occur over time. Thermally treated wood also has a natural scent that becomes milder with use and ventilation.
