The installed weight is important when planning a deck, patio, or other supporting surface, so the base should be verified as level and capable of supporting the completed sauna.
Yes, the SaunaLife installation manual includes guidance for wood-burning heater installations as well as electric heaters. The exact stove, chimney system, clearances, and protective components must be selected to match the sauna and local requirements. Always follow the heater manufacturer’s installation instructions before choosing a wood-fired setup.
No. The CL7G arrives as an outdoor sauna kit and the roof system is completed during assembly. SaunaLife includes the roof underlay and shingle components in the kit, and the installation manual provides separate steps for fitting these materials to the completed sauna structure.
Yes. In addition to common tools such as a drill, level, measuring tape, hammer, screwdriver, and rubber mallet, SaunaLife’s CL7G manual lists a circular saw, ratchet strap, and extra hands. The manual specifies a ratchet strap at least 27 feet long, which is used during assembly of the larger cabin structure.
Yes. SaunaLife’s flexible white LED system can be cut at designated cut points when needed. The manufacturer also lists several possible mounting locations, including the backrest, under a bench, along the sauna floor, or on the exterior. Final placement must still follow the required distance and temperature limits around the sauna heater.
