All three models share the same general 6-person Ergo-Series barrel format, but the wall and glass configurations differ. The standard E8 uses a traditional wood front and solid rear wall with a bronze glass door. The E8W adds a rear window, while the E8G uses a full glass front. The E8 is a strong choice for buyers who prefer the more enclosed look of a traditional outdoor barrel sauna.
SaunaLife places one drain beneath the heater and a second near the entrance. The heater-side drain helps manage water used during traditional sauna bathing, while the entrance drain provides another path for water brought in from wet feet, a pool, or a cold plunge. This layout helps manage moisture inside the barrel during regular use.
No. The E8 lighting system uses a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection and does not connect directly to a 5 GHz-only network. The lighting can be managed through the Tuya Smart app, and the included handheld remote can also be used for power and brightness control.
After each session, SaunaLife recommends ventilating the sauna and allowing the surfaces to dry. Wipe the benches and other wood surfaces with a clean, damp cloth and avoid letting water pool on the wood. Pressure washing or spraying the benches with a stream of water is not recommended because excess moisture can damage the wood over time.
